THE MISSION

The Brown STEM Girl™ Foundation was founded to honor the legacy of Katherine Johnson and the contributions she's made to Space & STEM. It was created to continue in her legacy of opening doors and creating opportunities for other women and girls in STEM.

THE PURPOSE

The Brown STEM Girl™ Foundation, a prestigious scholarship program for girls of color is based on evidence that by removing the financial barriers to college, a dedicated scholarship can enable high-potential, minority students to excel in their course work, graduate college, and continue their journey to making a difference in the world through STEM.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A BSG PARTNERSHIP SCHOOL?

BSG Partner Schools offer a full scholarship to pursue an undergraduate degree in specific fields related to STEM as outlined by each individual school.
